Traversing the Oregon Coast

To celebrate a successful wheat harvest, and to spend a little family time before the end of Summer we packed the car up and headed West to the Oregon Coast.  A lot of last minute planning and reservation crunching resulted in a four day trip that started in Seaside, OR and finished in Bandon.
As usual the coast provided countless memories, great photos, and lots of stories to tell.
 The first stop
Putting our toes in the ocean for the first time on the trip
Bumper cars in Seaside are a blast!  They haven't been tamed down too much and can really scoot!
 Devils Punchbowl
At low tide you can walk inside and check out the Tide Pools!
Yaquina Head lighthouse!  Not only a beautiful building, but also had a pod of Gray Whales right off the coastline!  We were able to watch them for quite a long while.
A sunset in Yachats!  The Rock formations here made for spectacular views!
Fish and Chips in Bandon, OR!  Simply the best!
A little exploring along the rocks
